La Cañada Elementary PTA plans annual Book Fair
Families with young children will have the opportunity next month to add to their home libraries when the La Cañada Elementary School PTA throws open the doors to its annual Book Fair, set for the week of March 7 through 10.
The theme for this year’s sale is “Happy Camper Book Fair: S’more Fun with Books!” In addition to selecting items for their personal collections, shoppers will be able to purchase from LCE teachers’ wish lists to support classroom libraries, according to chair Donna Johnson.

Hours for the fair are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, except for Thursday, March 9, when the sale will stay open until 6 p.m.
A character from a popular children’s book series will make periodic visits throughout the event, Johnson said.
Proceeds from the book fair, held at the LCE campus, 4540 Encinas Drive, will go to the LCE PTA General Fund to support operations and enrichment programs.
