Parents’ group to sing praises of music education

An evening of music, food, auctions and raffles has been set for Saturday, Feb. 25, when the La Cañada Music Parents Assn. stages its 18th annual dinner show fundraiser at La Cañada Flintridge Country Club, from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m.

The evening’s theme is “Celebrate Music.” Demonstrating their skills under the leadership of LCHS Instrumental Music Program Director Jason Stone will be the Advanced Orchestra, Marching/Concert Band, Color Guard/WinterGuard, Drum Line, 7/8 Orchestra and 7/8 Band. The event will also feature a silent auction, raffle prizes and an after party showcasing the Jazz Band, from 9 to 10 p.m.
