Detectives with the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station are requesting the public’s help in identifying four burglary suspects who burglarized a residence in La Cañada’s Flintridge area on Oct. 29 and whose images were captured by a video surveillance camera.

At around 8:50 p.m., one of the suspects — described by a neighbor as a black male wearing a dark T-shirt and camouflage pants, earrings and black, white and red shoes — approached the residence and rang the doorbell. He was seen looking into windows adjacent to the front door.

The man then walked to the rear of the home and peered into several windows before leaving. Shortly after that, three different suspects approached the residence and forced entry through a rear glass door, according to a sheriff’s department release issued Friday.

According to a report of the incident, nothing appeared to have been stolen, but a yellow pillow was found outside by the broken rear door, determined to be the point of entry. At least two of the suspects were seen getting into a dark, two-door Ford Thunderbird parked near the home.

Two of the suspects were determined to be black adults. Although their gender could not be identified from the surveillance footage, they appeared to be wearing hooded sweatshirts pulled up over their heads. One wore a blue bandana over the lower portion of his/her face.

The fourth suspect was described as a black female wearing a black Adidas sweat suit and black gloves with yellow stripes, dark shoes and a purple bandana covering the lower portion of her face.

Anyone who may have information on the identity of the suspects or pertaining to the incident is asked to call Det. Rodger Burt with the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station at (818) 236-4014.
