Man found dead in Montrose home

Sheriff’s officials are investigating the death of a man who was getting evicted in Montrose, authorities said.

Around 11:30 a.m. Monday, authorities responded to the 3800 block of Orangedale Avenue, where an elderly man who was going to be evicted was found dead in his home, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Alan Chu.

How the man died was not immediately known. Further details were not available.
