Grand theft: 1500 block of Foothill Boulevard. The manager of a store reported arriving at work at 7 a.m. March 13 to find that a four-piece patio furniture set and a black firepit — merchandise that was for sale — had been stolen from a locked, gated area overnight. It was the fourth time the store had lost patio furnishings in the past three months. It’s surmised the burglar(s) jumped over the gate and somehow got the furnishings out of the enclosure.

Grand theft from unlocked vehicle: 2100 block of Earnslow Drive. A woman leaving for work at 6 a.m. saw that the doors and trunk of her 2009 Mercedes, which she’d left parked unlocked on her driveway overnight, were open. Missing from the center console were her wallet, Social Security card, money and nurse license. Taken from her car’s trunk were a bag, a laptop, laptop case and a thumb drive that contained confidential patient information.

Attempted petty theft, vehicle tampering: 5100 block of Vista Miguel Drive. A man reported that the 2006 Land Rover he’d left parked, unlocked, in his driveway had been ransacked overnight and there was an attempt to get into his locked 2018 Tesla parked nearby. Nothing was reported taken. The man reviewed video surveillance that showed two unknown adults walk up his driveway, enter the Land Rover, ransack it and then try the door on the Tesla before walking away.
