LCHS junior Luke Stefan has been chosen to work at the Allen Lund Co., while fellow junior Jane Kim will be working at Citizens Business Bank. Juniors Daniel Oh and Kate Park will intern with YMCA of the Foothills, while classmates Connor Thomas and Dane Reeb will work at USC-Verdugo Hills Hospital and the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge. LCHS sophomore Jason Del Fierro will work as an intern at the city of La Cañada Flintridge.

Students work daily on projects specifically designed to make a positive impact on their selected company and in the larger community. Interns earn $1,200 scholarships after completing their assignments and attending several city and chamber events. They also prepare a public presentation highlighting their work history and lessons learned, with the best presenter receiving an additional $800, awarded at the chamber’s annual gala and installation dinner.
