Cyber crime, phone scams topic of public forum

City Hall will be the venue on the evening of Thursday, May 19, when the city of La Cañada Flintridge hosts a public safety forum focusing on cyber crime and phone scams.

Experts will be on hand to advise residents on how they might best safeguard their identities and protect themselves against other crimes such as extortion.

The forum, open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chamber on the first floor of City Hall, 1327 Foothill Blvd.
