Letter: JPL needs a better system for visitors

Share

JPL should consider enacting a reservation system, perhaps stretching its open house across several Saturdays. Our clogged freeway and streets — progressively worse each year — ought to provide ample motivation.

This outstanding La Cañada facility definitely deserves the attention and popularity. No one wishes to deny that. In my opinion, it does not seem right to gridlock all surrounding roads, making people wait hours to get in, while burning hundreds of gallons of fuel into our atmosphere. A better way for JPL to open its doors to the public must exist.
