Christopher Spears hauled in a big 40-yard touchdown catch from Phoenix Vengco for the game’s first score. Spears caught another score, this one from 20 yards, on a half-back option from Laurence Kerkonian. Kerkonian also had a rushing touchdown to close out the scoring.

Christian Mattmann, David LaFond and Brendan Smith also played well for the Gladiators.

A huge win was had by the Gladiators on the road Saturday, as they improved to 6-0 with a fourth consecutive shutout.

La Cañada dominated to the tune of a 363-42 discrepancy in total offense.

Quarterback Wyatt Becker had two touchdown runs and a touchdown pass of 55 yards to Michael Liggins.

Jacob Lopez, Levi Griffin and David Mysza had rushing scores, as well.

Scottie Smith had nine tackles to lead the Gladiators and Izziah Alzaga added an interception. Nevada Miller and Luke Cullen also had big days on both sides of the ball.

LC turned in its sixth straight victory led by Maxwell Garrison, who had four total touchdowns.

Pierce Clarkson threw a pair of touchdowns, with Sal Guerrero and Colin Mathews hauling in the scores. Clarkson also had an interception on defense.
