La Cañada 113, Monrovia 43: Freshman Daniel Syrkin broke his own school record in the 100-yard butterfly as the Spartans rolled to a Rio Hondo League road victory on Thursday afteroon.
Syrkin finished in a mark of 49.72 seconds as the Spartans improved to 4-1, 2-1 in league.

La Cañada 130, Monrovia 37: The Spartans picked up a Rio Hondo League road victory on Thursday afternoon.
With the win, La Cañada improved to 4-1, 2-1 in league.
BOYS’ GOLF
La Cañada 182, South Pasadena 199: The Spartans continued their undefeated run through the season with a Rio Hondo League victory at Almansor Golf Course on Thursday afternoon.
La Cañada improved to 7-0, 5-0 in league.

La Cañada 3, San Marino 2: The Spartans picked up their second victory in a row and first at home, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21, 18-25, 15-10, on Thursday afternoon in Rio Hondo League play.
