Sports Roundup: La Cañada girls’ volleyball wins fourth straight
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
La Cañada 3, Village Christian 1: A 13-day hiatus didn’t slow down the Spartans, who picked up their fourth consecutive win, 25-14, 25-22, 26-28, 25-17 in nonleague play Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomore Emily Weirick led the attack for La Cañada (6-3) with 16 kills, Chloe Kerstein added nine kills and four aces and Claire Kevorkian tallied six kills and four blocks. Emily Gannon added 14 digs and Hailey Belcher chipped in 31 assists.

St. Francis 15, La Salle 9: St. Francis notched a nonleague road victory Tuesday at Arcadia County Park. Goalkeeper Cole Mrston finished with nine saves for the Golden Knights (4-6).
