Three men arrested in La Cañada found with stolen camera
Three Los Angeles men were arrested in La Cañada Flintridge Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of stealing a camera and possessing burglary tools, authorities said.
Deputies stopped Daniel Marroquin, 36, Carlos Avelar, 30, and Edvin Alvarado, 31, around 12:30 p.m. near Foothill Boulevard and Hampton Road for a traffic violation, said Lt. Angela Shepherd of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.
They were arrested after deputies discovered the men possessed a camera that was stolen in a commercial burglary in San Bernardino County, said Shepherd.
They also possessed a shaved key that can fit into any lock and is often used for burglaries, she said.
One of the men was on probation for grand theft and another had a warrant for burglary, according to Sgt. Chris Hofmeister.
They are each being held at the station on a $50,000 bail.
