Share

Search-and-rescue teams were looking for possible survivors Wednesday after a car apparently plunged 400 feet off California 39 into the Morris Reservoir in the Angeles National Forest.

L.A. County fire officials said they did not know when the car plunged off the road, whether anyone had been in it or whether anyone could have survived such a fall, according to the L.A. Times.

They also did not have a description of the car. They said they got a call about the car about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.
