The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station will compete with other authorities on Wednesday to donate the most blood.

American Red Cross is aiming to collect from 5,500 donors in Southern California. A mobile Red Cross vehicle will be parked at the station from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4554 Briggs Ave. The station is calling on members of the community to reach their goal.

All donors will get an appetizer from Mimi’s Café, tickets to the Laugh Factory and a T-shirt.

To schedule a donation, email Dep. Jorge Valdivia jvaldiv@lasd.org. Interested donors can also stop by without an appointment.
