About 1200 guests turned out for the Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital’s annual benefit, the American Girl Fashion Show this month. Lisa Simone and Juliet Cullen chaired the three-day event at the Glendale Hilton.

Fifty-four girls modeled historic and contemporary outfits for audiences of girls, their families, friends, and favorite dolls. Rose Queen Drew Washington and Rose Princess Kimberly Ostiller narrated the performances.

All proceeds from the American Girl Fashion Show benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the premiere pediatric care and research facility in the western United States.

Founded in 1901, the hospital is a source of hope and help for nearly 200,000 seriously ill, disabled, and injured children each year.

As speakers with firsthand experience testified at the performances, the hospital’s environment is one of love and compassion.
