Residential burglary: 5500 block of Vista Cañada Place, before 11:30 a.m. on May 14. Sterling silver flatware, bracelet and miscellaneous jewelry stolen from home. Losses were estimated to be $3,500 in household goods and $2,000 in jewelry items.
May 14
Residential burglary: 300 block of Starlane Drive, between noon and 1 p.m. Jewelry worth $10,000, $6,000 in silver dollar coins and a .38 caliber revolver stolen from home.
May 14-15
Vandalism: 5500 block of Stardust Road, before 6 a.m. on May 15. Driver’s-side window on vehicle smashed.
May 15
Vehicle burglary: 712 Foothill Blvd., between 3 and 3:20 p.m. An Apple MacBook Pro laptop was stolen from a vehicle while the driver was visiting the Pinkberry frozen yogurt store. The side window of the vehicle was smashed.
May 16
Robbery: 663 Foothill Blvd., 1:10 p.m. Clothing valued at $116.93 stolen from T.J.Maxx store. A surveillance video captured images of an apparent suspect and a vehicle.
May 15-16
Petty theft, identity theft: 4600 block of Grand Avenue, before 5:45 a.m. on May 16. A men’s leather wallet containing $75, a driver’s license and several credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A baseball bag, helmet and other items were also taken.

May 15
Drug possession: Foothill Boulevard and Lauderdale Street, 10:51 a.m. A 60-year-old Sunland man was arrested for possessing methamphetamine.
May 15-16
Vandalism: 2400 block of Shields Street, before 1 a.m. on May 16. Left-rear tail light on vehicle hit by paint ball, broken.
