Fairview Drive getting new parking restriction

Share

Residents on the south side of Fairview Drive near Angeles Crest Highway will no longer be able to park their cars on a portion of the street during afternoon school-day rush hours, the City Council decided Monday. That stretch of Fairview currently has a no-stopping restriction along 110 feet of its curb from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The council voted to reduce the affected stretch of curb to 90 feet and it changed the no-stopping times to 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days to better match traffic patterns.
