Strong Santa Ana winds whipped through the foothills Wednesday evening, and La Cañada Flintridge suffered its share of damage. Residents woke up to downed trees and busted fences Thursday morning. Utility customers remain in the dark Friday morning, with no timeline as to when power will be restored.
