On Monday, newly appointed La Cañada Flintridge Mayor Mike Davitt presented his list of mayor assignments, designating City Council members to various internal and external committees and boards representing both the council and the city.

The list also notes agency positions to which council members have been appointed or elected by those external agencies.

According to the list, which applies to fiscal year 2014-15, Davitt will serve on the California Contract Cities Assn. and the City Selection Committee, a mayoral requirement.

Mayor Pro Tem Don Voss will represent La Cañada on the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments as well as the Southern California Assn. of Governments, while Councilman John Curtis will serve on the Chamber of Commerce.

Councilwoman Laura Olhasso, who just completed a term as mayor, will be a representative of the Chamber’s Business Support and Development Committee (BSDC) and will serve as a North Corridor Cities MTA representative.

Councilman Dave Spence has been appointed to serve on several outside agency panels, including the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority Executive Board and the Contract Cities Assn.’s Liability Trust Fund Oversight Committee.

For a full list of appointments, visit www.lcf.ca.gov or call (818) 790-8880.
