AFS student heads home to Thailand
The La Cañada home of Fran and Bill Evans was the venue on a recent Friday when more than 30 people bid farewell to AFS student Amy Usuparat from Thailand.
Usuparat, who enjoyed the experiences of an American high school senior, spent her first semester in Glendale at the home of Yuka and Daniel Kimbell and joined the family of Marie and Alex Henry in La Cañada for the second semester.
According to Marie Henry, before flying out of Los Angeles International Airport, Usuparat texted that “she misses La Cañada already and that this was the best year of her life.”
