Share

Two hundred members of the La Crescenta Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints banded together to clean a stretch of the Los Angeles River on Saturday, May 3.

Hundreds of bags of trash were removed from the river including discarded tables, shopping carts and tires. This was one of thousands of events held nationwide over the last several weeks by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who every year participate in a National Day of Service.
