Running hard for school funds at annual jog-a-thon

Local students burned calories and generated cash for the La Cañada Educational Foundation on Wednesday during the foundation’s 15th annual jog-a-thon. At Paradise Canyon Elementary School students met with MRFY, a robot made out of recyclables and presented by waste-management firm Republic Services, before they sped around the field.
