Police are seeking suspects in a home burglary that left a La Crescenta resident with possible broken bones, authorities said.

The man was returning to his home in the 2900 block of Frances Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday to find two black men in his house, with various items from his house stacked up by the door, said Sgt. Debra Herman of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.

He got into a fight with the men and was punched in the face, Herman said. The suspects left without taking the items by the door, but it’s unknown whether they stole other property, she said.

The man was taken to Verdugo Hills Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no reported witnesses in the neighborhood at the time of the incident.
