Crescenta-Cañada YMCA offers art and piano classes

Expanding upon its role as a purveyor of health and fitness, the Crescenta-Cañada Y is now encouraging youth to explore their creative potential by offering a series of art and piano classes this summer.

Currently, art sessions run July 21 through Aug. 18 and are available for kids ages 5 through ninth grade. Drawing and Intro to Art students will learn to use a variety of artistic media, including pastels, chalks and colored pencils, while kids ages 5 through 12 can learn brush skills in All About Painting.

Additionally, the Y offers personalized and individualized piano instruction for children ages 3 through 12, from the beginner through advanced levels.

For more information on class times, costs and availability, visit or call (818) 790-0123.
