Election is a time for change on La Cañada City Council

I am writing this letter to urge your readers to vote for a non-incumbent in the election for City Council.

First off, the incumbent has had 20 years to serve us. That is long enough, in my opinion. It is time for us to move on. Let us give the seat of power over to somebody else. Democracy is about sharing of governing power. Let’s give democracy a chance to work.

Secondly, both of the two other people running are reasonable choices. One is more experienced than the other, but I believe this is where we should be making our choice. The risk of change is at the minimum now. Let’s vote for change this election cycle.
