Equestrians invited to ride the trails with L.A. County Supervisor Antonovich

Horse enthusiasts are invited to join Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich on Sunday, Oct. 18 for one of his “Trail Dusters” rides. Participants will gather at the Flintridge Riding Club at 7 a.m. for a pancake breakfast, followed by a nearly four-hour ride across the city’s picturesque trails.

A barbecue lunch and live musical entertainment will be enjoyed at the conclusion of the ride. Nonriders are welcome.

The ride features a combination of rolling hills and level areas, and has two rest stops. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and all horses must be service animals. Reservations are required. Forms may be obtained by calling Vincent Podraza at (909) 599-8411, and should be mailed to the Department of Parks and Recreation, Supervisor’s Trail Ride, 120 Via Verde Drive, San Dimas, CA 91773.
