La Cañada Crime: Gun stolen from safe in residential burglary

Grand theft: 500 block of Foothill Boulevard, 8 a.m. An undetermined amount of money was transferred online from two Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union accounts to other bank accounts. The credit union reported the incident this month.
Sept. 18-19
Grand theft: 1200 block of Flintridge Avenue, before 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 19. A bag, wallet, undetermined amount of cash, credit cards and a driver’s license were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Sept. 18
Residential burglary: 200 block of Berkshire Avenue, between 1 and 4 p.m. A safe with a gun inside was stolen from a resident’s home.
Sept. 1-8
Forgery, elder abuse: 600 block of Georgian Road, between 2:07 and 6:56 p.m. A unauthorized check was cashed with a man’s signature forged. The man believes it could have been a person who was offering him home-care services.

Sept. 18
Burglary: 2900 block of Community Avenue, between 11:25 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. An Apple iPod Touch and headphones were stolen from a student’s locker.
