Three-vehicle collision in La Crescenta-Montrose area results in injuries

A three-vehicle collision briefly shut down one lane of the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in the La Crescenta-Montrose area on Thursday, with an unknown number of injuries reported.

The accident was called in to the California Highway Patrol at 4:45 p.m., with reports of a collision at the Ocean View exit between a black Audi sedan, a tan Toyota and one other vehicle, according to Officer Alex Rubio of the California Highway Patrol.

The No. 1 lane was closed for about 15 minutes, Rubio said.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene.

Though the number of injured parties was unknown, at least one party was transported to the USC Verdugo Hills hospital, he said.
