‘Good Citizens’ honored at Daughters of the American Revolution lunch

Five students from area high schools were recently honored with “Good Citizen Award” from the Don Jose Verdugo Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.

A luncheon honoring the students was held at a Pasadena restaurant where Barbara Rogers, good citizen chairman, introduced each of the recipients, their parents and school counselors.

Accepting the awards were Gloria Han, daughter of Paul and So Han, who attends Crescenta Valley High School; Jenna Gulick, daughter of Belen and Douglas Gulick, who is a senior at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy; Carly Moore, daughter of Daniel and Susan Moore, who attends La Cañada High School; Jenna El-Fakih, daughter of Hamal and Mary El-Fakih, who attends Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School; and Jenna Galper, daughter of Gayle Penrod and Michael Galper, who is a senior at Flintridge Preparatory School.
