Talk on organ donations planned for April

La Cañada resident Reg Green will speak at a Thursday Club meeting next month about the power of organ donations.

In 1994, Green’s 7-year-old son, Nicholas, was shot and killed. Green and his wife, Maggie, donated Nicholas’ organs to children in Italy, where the shooting occurred, who required transplants.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 4 at 1 p.m. 4440 Woodleigh Lane. Admission is free and tea will be served. Contact Barbara Self at (818) 790-8807 for more information.
