Former state assemblyman Anthony Portantino has won the Marge Wyatt Advocacy Award for his work with families and children.

The award was presented at an annual Policy Makers Breakfast presented by Options, a child-care and human services agency based in Los Angeles County.

“Any time you can be associated with Marge Wyatt it’s a blessing and honor,” said Portantino in a statement, adding that receiving the award was “humbling.”

“I am very appreciative of all that Options does for families in the San Gabriel Valley and for this recognition,” he said.
