Packers chaplain to speak on child rearing

Green Bay Packers Chaplain Troy Murphy will speak at La Cañada Presbyterian Church later this month.

Murphy will focus his Sept. 28 presentation on raising successful children. He also serves as pastor at the Green Bay Community Church and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

The event will take place between 7 and 9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the church on 626 Foothill Blvd. Murphy’s talk is part of a monthly seminar at the church called Growing Families. For more information, call (818) 790-6708, Ext. 25.
