The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge broke records at an annual ceramics sale over the weekend.

The organization netted more than $41,000 during its three-day sale. The event, held since 1969, featured artists from La Cañada and neighboring cities who are regulars at the Community Center’s ceramics classes.

“The ceramic pieces we sell will enrich the lives and embellish the homes of our community members,” said the center’s ceramics director, Miriam Balcazar, in a statement. “We want the art to be part of their daily lives.”

Deb Jordan, executive director of the organization, said in a statement that she was grateful for the support of the community.
