Share

The achievements of three local young men who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout were celebrated March 2 at a Court of Honor held at La Cañada Presbyterian Church.

Kyle Thomas, Jamie Walker and Sam Weinberger, members of Boy Scout Troop 507, were joined by family and friends at the event.

For their Eagle projects, Thomas built gardens at Crestview Preparatory School, Walker refurbished a trail north of Armstrong Nurseries in La Cañada and Weinberger installed fencing for a trail head in Loma Alta County Park in neighboring Altadena.

Each of the three new Eagle Scouts was presented a letter of commendation by Theresa Lamb Simpson, representing Rep. Adam Schiff.
