Rotary Club cleans up along Angeles Crest

Share

Members and friends of the Crescenta Cañada Rotary Club worked April 12 to clean up a stretch of Angeles Crest Highway the club adopted more than 20 years ago.

The recent activity was part of Rotary at Work Day, when Rotarians from across the country participate in community service projects. The local Rotarians donned orange vests, hard hats and gloves for their clean-up efforts along the highway.

Crescenta Cañada Rotary was founded in the 1940s. It meets at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Those interested in participating in the volunteer efforts of the club are invited to contact President Robert Ippolito at (818) 612-0618.
