Applications open for Miss La Cañada Flintridge 2016

The Royal Court Selection Committee of the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce & Community Assn. is accepting applications for the 2016 Miss La Cañada Flintridge competition, according to Pat Anderson, president and chief executive of the chamber.

The contest is open to all high school juniors living within the 91011 Zip Code. The reign for next year’s Royal Court begins in January and lasts 12 months.

The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9. Candidates are asked to complete the application, attach a school picture and include the $75 application fee, then deliver them to the LCF Chamber office, 4529 Angeles Crest Highway, Suite 102, La Cañada. The chamber accepts cash or checks.

Applications have been delivered to Flintridge Prep, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, La Cañada High School, Mayfield Senior School, Polytechnic School and Westridge Prep School for Girls. Young women attending Crescenta Valley High School may receive the information online or may pick up a copy in the Chamber office.
