Mayer, Beyer Wedding

Two-hundred guests witnessed the May 1 wedding of Brooke Mayer, daughter of Martin and Cynthia Mayer of La Cañada Flintridge, to Jason Beyer, the son of William and Cathy Beyer of San Jose.

The couple were wed at La Cañada Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Gary Dennis officiating. A reception following the ceremony was held at the Athenaeum at Caltech.

Brooke appeared in a one-shoulder gown designed by Romona Keveza and carried a bouquet of white peonies.

Jayme Mayer stood by her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Kozak, the groom’s sister Lisa Beyer, and Erin Conolley. Tyler Roorda, the daughter of Jason and Anna Roorda of Nampa, Idaho, was flower girl.

Sean Mollins was best man; ushers were Ryan Park, Matthew Martin and Christopher Weaver.

The bride is a graduate of La Cañada High School, and the groom graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. Both earned bachelor’s degrees from Cal State Chico, where she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority and he played on the basketball team.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are at home in Hermosa Beach.
