County Club names general manager

Professional Golfers’ Association member and San Marino native Rick Adams started work this month as the new general manager of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club, President Randy Dreyfuss announced.

Adams’ prior experience includes roles as general manager of the Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, Riverwalk Golf Club in San Diego and the Palmas del Mar Country Club in Puerto Rico. He was also head golf professional at the Lost Canyons Golf Club in Simi Valley and a tournament director for Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine and Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach.

The La Cañada Flintridge Country Club will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year.
