Awards were presented March 22 to three students who drew a T-shirt design for Crestview’s annual Walkathon.

Sixth grader Jensen was the first place winner, Sarah, a fourth grader and Nisha, a first grader were the runners-up. Jensen’s design best fit this year’s theme, “Walk Together for Crestview.”

On Sunday, May 2, students, parents, alumni, staff and teachers will walk around the St. Francis High School track to raise funds for Crestview School in La Cañada.

This is always a favorite family event. Students win prizes for the number of laps walked, a DJ helps keep everyone motivated with fun music, and there are homemade treats and food from the In ‘N Out Burger truck to sustain the walkers.
