LC Spartan boys’ tennis team beats South Pasadena

The La Cañada boys’ varsity tennis team took care of visiting South Pasadena, 14-4, in Rio Hondo League play at the La Cañada Country Club on April 15.

The Spartans evened their overall mark to 5-5 and their league record to 1-1. They played Temple City there in a league match on Tuesday, but no results were available at press time.

La Cañada will visit Monrovia today (Thursday) for a 3:15 p.m. match.

The Spartans’ doubles team of Jeff Pih and Erik Johnson and Matt Burrows and Pat Lu each won all three sets. In singles, La Cañada player Jack Cooper also won all three sets.
