Sacred Heart Varsity Softball Tops Louisville

The Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy varsity softball team defeated visiting Woodland Hills Louisville, 11-5, in a Mission League game at the Glendale Sports Complex last Friday.

The Tologs, who improved to 10-8 overall and to 2-6 in league, played North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake on Monday at L.A. Valley College and hosted Sherman Oaks Notre Dame yesterday (Wednesday) at the GSC in league contests. Results were not available at press time.

Melissa Wong started for Sacred Heart and was relieved in the fourth inning by Analiese DiConte. Wong got the victory and her record improved to 3-3.

Cissy Butler had two hits and two runs scored. Among the Tologs' eight hits was a triple by DiConte.
