Area Students Join Schiff Office as Summer Interns

Congressman Adam Schiff has announced that 13 student interns, including one from St. Francis High School, will be joining his Pasadena office from May to September. The students come from throughout the 29th Congressional District and will add several language skills to the already multilingual staff. Schiff staff currently offer Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Armenian and Arabic languages. Interns will add Cantonese, Farsi, Korean and Portuguese abilities.

Schiff’s 2005 summer interns attend Denison University (Ohio), Polytechnic School (Pasadena), the University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley, St. Francis High School (La Cãnada Flintridge), Arcadia High School, UC Irvine, the University of Washington, the University of San Diego, UCLA and Ramona Convent Secondary School (Alhambra).

Congressional interns assist with all office tasks, in addition to working on special projects and attending events with Congressman Schiff and staff.
