Thanks for the Illumination

On behalf of all the parents and kids in the community, I would like to thank all of those involved in lighting the athletic fields at Oak Grove School for their hard work and financial contributions.

As the AYSO soccer season “kicks off,” kids will have a local field to use for evening games and practices. When softball starts in the springtime, Oak Grove will allow practices and games after 5 p.m. which was the last time previously available. And only when you must drive the 210 Freeway at 5:30 to a lighted soccer field in east Pasadena, will you fully appreciate the new lights.

This is a fantastic accomplishment for the community. And to those involved in bringing this bright addition to La Cañada Flintridge, thanks.
