La Cañada Flintridge Country Club’s Sunday Night Family Buffet is the place to be weekly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Nov. 20, club members enjoyed a lavish buffet while listening to the music of Simon and Simon.

For the unbelievable price of $17.95, adults enjoyed a salad station consisting of a Mediterranean salad, Caesar salad, mixed green salad, and an Italian pasta salad. That followed with an ice station of sashimi, shrimp, cocktail, and smoked salmon. Entrees included chicken dumplings, a made-to-order pasta bar, barbecue ribs, saffron rice, and the vegetable du jour. The dessert station consisted of cookies, a chocolate fondue fountain and assorted cakes.

The children’s menu consisting of chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs. Pricing for juniors was $12.95 for ages 7 to 13, and $9.95 for children, ages 4 to 6. Those 3 and younger were fed at no charge.
