Christmas Concert Scheduled

This first Sunday in Advent, Dec. 4, the first candle “Hope” will be lit. Pastor Skip Lindeman will lead the worship service and deliver the message at Church of the Lighted Window in La Cañada.

Members of the Youth Group will greet arriving worshipers. Included in the 10 a.m. service will be the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Visitors are welcome.

Church school classes for all ages are available, Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers. Theresa Servin is the director of Christian Education.

At the conclusion of the service everyone is invited to remain for coffee served in Fellowship Hall hosted by members of the Diaconate Board. At 4 p.m. the public is invited to the CLW Chancel Choir’s annual Christmas Concert. Featured soloists include Wanda Lau, mezzo-soprano; Jean Paul Jones, tenor; and Eulis Kay, baritone. Dr, Harold Daugherty is the director and Joseph Klice will perform piano and organ accompaniment. Admission is free.
