The following crime reports for La Crescenta, Montrose, Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge were taken from the log at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station and Glendale Police Department.

Sunday, Nov. 27

Person(s) unknown entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Indianola Way in La Cañada and stole a wallet containing currency and credit cards.

Person(s) unknown entered a locked vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada and stole a car stereo, men’s wallet and miscellaneous currency.

Friday, Nov. 25

Person(s) unknown spray painted a metal storage shed and air conditioning unit in the 4100 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada.

Wednesday, Nov. 23

Person(s) unknown entered a closed business in the 1500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada and stole a cash register containing miscellaneous currency.

Person(s) unknown stole the tailgate from a truck in the 1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

Person(s) unknown stole a cell phone at Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta.

Monday Nov. 21

An employee of a business of the 2300 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose reported person(s) unknown spraying graffiti on the side wall of a businesses building.

An employee of a gas station in the 2100 block of Verdugo Boulevard in northeast Glendale reported an unknown person running into the store and stealing a display of lottery scratch tickets, totaling about $1,800.

Person(s) unknown entered a locked vehicle parked in a business near the intersection of Foothill and Ocean View boulevards in La Crescenta and stole Christmas gifts.

Sunday Nov. 20

A resident of the 3000 block of Montrose Avenue in La Crescenta reported a 2004 Nissan Sentra’s entire left side scratched totaling $2,000 in damage.

A resident of the 2600 block of Piedmont Avenue reported a trash can on fire at the entrance of a driveway in the 2600 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose.

Saturday Nov. 19

A resident of the 1400 block of Beaudry Boulevard in northeast Glendale reported an unlocked 1997 Volvo 960, containing miscellaneous clothes worth about $525, stolen.

Friday Nov. 18

Robert Dunning, 37, of La Crescenta, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a methamphetamine pipe containing methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle during a traffic stop near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Lauderdale Avenue in La Crescenta.

Wednesday Nov. 16

Daniel Rivera, 37, of El Monte, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a California driver’s license near the intersection of Calle Bella and Camino San Rafael in northeast Glendale.

A resident of the 1800 block of Alpha Road in northeast Glendale reported a lamp knocked down by a blunt object in the driveway.

A resident of the 3200 block of Kentucky Place in La Crescenta reported unknown person(s) opening a bank account and charging about $7,000 without the resident’s consent.

Tuesday Nov. 15

A resident of the 2500 block of Allanjay Place in northeast Glendale reported her purse worth about $300, black leather wallet, $100 suede makeup bag and other miscellaneous make up, missing from the resident’s car after she left the roof of her car down in their driveway.

Monday Nov. 14

A resident of the 1900 block of Alpha Road in northeast Glendale reported a plastic bag containing a California driver’s license, social security card, and miscellaneous food stamps missing from their house.

A resident of the 4900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta reported her California driver’s license missing after shopping at a mall in Glendale.

Tip of the Week: Remember not to leave your packages and wrapped gifts inside your vehicle. Any indication that your gifts or valuables are inside your car is an invitation to thieves. For shoppers, if possible, shop with a friend and be aware of your surroundings.
