AARP Drive 55 Classes Offered at Local Hospital

The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada AM is sponsoring monthly AARP Drive 55 classes at Verdugo Hills Hospital.

If you want to get a discount on your auto insurance and get updated on driving techniques and rules, consider taking the AARP 55 Alive Driver Training Program at Verdugo Hills Hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the last two Thursdays of the month. The cost is $10.

Aside from learning how to be a better driver, you may be eligible for a discount on your auto insurance. The local Kiwanis Club has checked with four of the major auto insurers who have verified that they give a discount when the person shows them a certificate of completion for the program. The discount is generally good for three years, so if you have not taken the class for three or more years, you should take it again.
