Flintridge Prep Celebrates Holidays with Year-end Alumni Events

This month, Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada Flintridge extends a hearty holiday “welcome home” to its alumni with a series of reunions and other events.

On Friday, Dec. 23, Rebel grads are invited to join current student athletes on the field, on the court, and in the pool for an afternoon of fun on Alumni Sports Day. Games are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. for women’s basketball and coed water polo and soccer. A men’s basketball game will follow at 4 p.m. The day will end with a post-game reception. Alumni Sports Day will be held at the athletic facilities and field on the Flintridge Prep campus, 4543 Crown Ave., La Cañada Flintridge.

On Monday, Dec. 26, the school will host on-campus reunions for the classes of 1995 and 2000. The festivities will begin with a joint reception from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Administration Building/Jorgensen Patio. Separate reunion dinners for each class will follow at 7 p.m. The Class of 1995 will dine in the Miller Theater, while the Class of 2000’s dinner will be in the Norris Atrium. The cost is $35 per person. Advance dinner reservations are required.

Afterward, these guests are invited to join fellow Prep alumni from other classes at the school’s annual All-Alumni Holiday Party at Moose McGillycuddy’s, 119 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, from 8 p.m until midnight. The restaurant will require a valid photograph identification for entrance.
