Thompson, Rady Led LC Varsity Water Polo in Season’s Scoring

In unofficial individual statistics released by La Cañada varsity water polo coach Larry Naeve, seniors Jordan Thompson and Gamal Rady scored the most goals this season for the CIF Southern Section Division III champion Spartans.

Thompson and Ramal both scored 93 goals to top the La Cañada offense. Senior Doug McNeese was next with 79 goals. Junior Devon Borisoff followed with 55 goals. Sophomore Nathaniel Vail had 31 goals and sophomore Max Scott hit the net 24 times.

Sophomore Mike Scott added 11 scores. Junior Caleb Greig was right behind with nine scores and scoring eight goals apiece were senior Cody Walker and junior Wes Lewis.

Senior Dante Morely-Montes chipped in seven goals and scoring six goals each were senior Tim Aguilar and freshman Spencer Borisoff.

Senior Geoff Boss finished with two goals and collecting one goal each were senior Davis deBrauwere, sophomore Julian Lawrence and freshman Frank Hwang.

In goalie saves, junior John Rowe had 98 and senior Daniel Kwon came through with 68.

Devon Borisoff topped the team in assists with 85. McNeese contributed 39, Vail provided 29, Thompson added 23 and Rady had 20.

Others were Max Scott with 18, Mike Scott with 16,Lewis with 13, Walker with 11, Greig with 10 and Boss with eight.

Morely-Montes collected five assists, Spencer Borisoff had four assists, Hwang finished with two and Aguilar and deBrauwere had one each.
