Crestview Prep Students Show Work at Open House

Crestview Preparatory School in La Cañada held its annual Open House on Jan. 22. Current families and prospective families had an opportunity to visit the classrooms and look at the work done by students, kindergarten through sixth grade. Students’ work ranged from written reports and short stories, “shoebox” time capsules and model dinosaurs.

Mrs. Lehman’s third grade class created experiments as part of their learning about the physical sciences. Alec Greenawalt demonstrated how his volcano can be activated using baking soda and vinegar.

Crestview Preparatory School is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary. On March 4, the school will hold a Roaring Twenties fundraiser to further benefit their educational programs. For more information, call the school at 952-0925.
